The Sciences Internship Program (SIP) provides students in the Science and Environmental Policy (SEP) Division with resources to successfully engage in meaningful internship opportunities.

Our mission is to promote student success and retention in the STEM disciplines by facilitating student internship opportunities and resources through a centralized internship system in compliance with CSUMB's internship policies.

The first and foremost goal of SIP is to aide a wider variety of students in the acquisition and procurement of internships. Towards that goal SIP offers a centralized website (, which hosts several internship databases only available to CSUMB students, as well as a selection of relevant external internship websites. Our program is designed to actively seek out and advertise new opportunities available to students.
